Responsiblities

The Director of Administrative Services and Operations maintains personnel records for the Assembly Majority Office. She coordinates the office’s administrative support staff and helps members and district offices navigate state procurement, hiring and policies.

Background

Marie Luberto has worked in the Assembly Majority Office for 25 years. Her career spans the tenures of eight Assembly speakers, seven governors, and two turns in both the Assembly majority and minority. Prior to joining the Assembly, Ms. Luberto spent seven years as an agent at the Bakers Basin (Lawrenceville) motor vehicle inspection/licensing facility.

Outside of the office, Ms. Luberto serves as the financial secretary for the Contemporary Club Victorian Museum. The museum, based in a restored townhouse across the street from the State House, educates visitors about life in Victorian-era Trenton.

In January 2008, Ms. Luberto was named to the number 3 spot on In The Lobby’s list of the 10 Greatest Partisan Staffers Who Ever Lived.

A lifelong resident of Mercer County, Ms. Luberto resides in Lawrenceville.

Education

Ms. Luberto is a graduate of Catherdal High School.
